My name is Hardeb Kaur, but you can call me Debbie, and I am a current student at the University of Reading studying a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.
I am an aspiring Clinical Psychologist and would like to gain clinical experience working with children.
I previously studied Psychology at the University of Wolverhampton and graduated in 2016. Since then, I have worked as a Health Care Assistant working with the elderly and with individuals with learning difficulties. I then went on to work with children who has SEMH and complex needs, and I have also worked with children with autism and ADHD. This experience of working with children intrigued me and inspired me to want to work with children and assist them with their mental health difficulties.
I would like to be able to observe some of the sessions with Clinical Psychologists, so I am able to gain some valuable experience and knowledge and have an insight into autism assessment and therapy.
